Kryštof Choura speaks to Amos Chapple, a photojournalist with Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, who is fascinated by untold visual stories (currently taking photos in Czech abandoned sealed-up uranium mines), relishes Czech history (e. g., Operation Anthropoid), cannot come to terms with „the deliberate, overt ugliness of the modern Czech art“, and … misses the purity and freedom of the ocean – in the „double-landlocked“ Czechia.
