Where are the bicycles?

Prague is known for its excellent public transport and is home to some of the most efficient trams and buses in Europe. But in one regard it falls short. Only few bicycles are seen on the streets. Despite some development of the bike lanes, especially outside the city center, bicycles are still by far the least preferred method of transportation. Where are the cyclists?
